Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time I was a teenager who did not have many interests or hobbies. The computer above changed that and set me on the trajectory of loving computers and electronics. It all started with this one computer. Looking at the specs now it astonishes me how far things have come even in my 24 years in the IT field.

I remember the cost of said computer as well. It was right around $1,800.00. It is comical now that a computer would cost that much as you can get a basic one for around $600, but at the time, it was a great deal!

Radio Shack became my home away from home, then Circuit City, and then Best Buy, and then.....well you get the idea. I became fascinated with all things technology related.

Why am I sharing this? Well one it is nice to be nostalgic and two, this isn't something I decided to do last month. This has been over half of my life enamored with computers. I may not know everything, no one ever can, but know this is not just a hobby for me, it is a passion.
